In Monterey, California she announced the launch of her GIFFT wine line with Scheid Family Vineyards. Recently, she made her directorial debut with Nicole C. Mullen in the film THE GOD WHO SEES. In the film, the duo wrote the score together. Gifford supports many children's charities which include Childhelp and the Association to Benefit Children. The two organizations were the inspiration behind Cassidy's House and Cody House which was named in honor of her children. She's a dedicated humanitarian and received an honourary doctorate in labor relations at Marymount University.
